The Dakhakhan Plateau is a large plateau in India which covers most of the southern part of the country and is located between two mountain ranges, the Western Ghats and the Eastern Ghats each of which rises from its’ respective nearby coastal plains. It extends over eight Indian states in particular the states of Telangana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Dakhakhan cuisine is dominated by ‘The Great Maratha Empire’, Nizami saltanat and Vijayanagar kingdom. However, the culinary traditions and landscapes of Dakhakhan are no longer dominated by the royals.

DAKHAKHAN Delicacies is born to take ahead the great legacy of Dakhakhan cuisine that’s known for its rich culture, customs and cuisine that was unexplored and unheard. Dakhakhan cuisine is influenced by fragrant aromas, generous use of spices, coconut base and a certain tart or tangy flavour in most dishes. Currently, we are introducing the authentic delicacies prepared from the well-knited traditional Maharashtra regions like- Kolhapur, Nagpur, Solapur, Malvan, Goa and henceforth, making ‘DAKHAKHAN Delicacies’ an outstanding restaurant ! These regional cuisines are served in a majestic Hampi temple type ambience that will captivate the diners into an incredible heritage world.
